What is Corporate Yoga?

Our corporate yoga sessions focus on stress management strategies that can be integrated into your everyday life. Our classes equip the students with techniques to improve their health and wellbeing by lowering stress and anxiety, therefore restoring homeostasis in every tissue and cell of the body. We have a deeply passionate approach to yoga and our students, and want every class to be playful, nurturing and inspiring. We want everyone to leave a yoga class feeling lighter, in order to empower our students to make positive changes in their life to be more fulfilled and live authentically. We always adapt our sessions to meet the needs of all levels.

1. Who?

Alyssa is the founder and head teacher at Good Possum. She will be guiding your colleagues through their yoga journey. Alyssa is accredited with Yoga Australia as a Level 1 Yoga Teacher with 500 hours of Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training and she is constantly attending workshops to further her education. She turned to yoga from graphic design, where she was spending long hours at a desk. Her yoga practice has granted her increased balance, strength and flexibility both physically and mentally. Alyssa offers a depth of knowledge and understanding of the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects. She sees the holistic benefits of yoga and meditation and wants others to feel the same sense of clarity, tranquility and authenticity. Alyssa is available to travel across Australia and New Zealand. Qualifications & Accreditations

  • Level 1 teaching in asana, pranayama, meditation, chanting, mantra, yogic philosophy, anatomy, physiology, psychology, spirituality, sacred texts, ayurveda, alignment, adjustments, prenatal, postnatal & ethics (500 hours) Moksha Yoga, Bentleigh

  • Registered Teacher with Yoga Australia

  • Bachelor of Communication Design

2. When?

We teach in blocks of 10 weeks (save 10%) or one-off classes are also available. Classes are either 45 or 60 minutes in duration. Clients are able to lock-in sessions with one of our teachers from Monday-Friday, with the earliest booking at 7am and the last booking at 5:15pm.

3. Where?

We come to your workplace to conduct sessions. That way your colleagues will only have to travel a few steps from their desk to the yoga mat to destress, relax and restore. We are able to travel Australia wide.

4. How?

A quiet, empty space within the confines of your workplace would be ideal for any yoga and meditation practice. Each class will be limited to a total of 20 students to ensure each person is given a high level of care.

We will provide the props and soulful music. You are welcome to bring your own mats, however yoga mats can be provided at an extra charge of $2 per person, per class (please provide 48 hours notice if this is the case).
